![]() ![]() This Monday, a report circulated on social media, initially posted publically by Anonymous, that Russia was going to completely disconnect itself from the internet and create a Russian intranet, which they would apparently do this Friday. The last issue is a little more pressing, but also potentially negates the issue above. A paid account is relatively inexpensive, but we'd like to ask your opinions on renewing all the same, especially on a Russian-owned website. On a related note, we remain unable to contact shanny_w, the community owner and administrator, which means we're still locked out of certain functions, including the official omona email address. You can read about it in livejournal's FAQ article listing the benefits of paid service packages. I believe it may also affect our ability to have our own fancy journal style, among other things. Your feedback has influenced how we've been responding to the potential need to move, and I'll go into detail about that further down. It's a bit of a long one, but fairly urgent, so grab a cuppa and settle in.įirst of all, thanks to everyone who came into last week's FFA and shared their thoughts on where we might move to if livejournal was to go down due to current world events. We need to touch base very quickly around livejournal, our usage of livejournal, and how the Ukranian invasion might affect our existence on this website. ![]()
